Sage Palmer Desert News Athlete Of The Week

SAGE PALMER, Enterprise, track: This senior track star had a banner day last Saturday at the Milford Invitational.

Palmer set a new school record in three events, the 100 meters (10.98), 200 meters (22.28) and javelin (183’06).

He’s the heavy favorite to win all three events at the 2A state tournament next month, but realistically he could contend in any classification.

Palmer’s time in the 100 meters is the third fastest in the entire state this year. His 200 time is the eighth fastest, and his javelin toss is the third best.

Palmer is no stranger to the limelight. He was a starter at receiver and defensive back for Enterprise’s football team the past two years, and was named a Deseret News first teamer in 2011.

EHS Softball Team Clinch's Region Championship

A six-run explosion in the fourth inning carried Enterprise to an 11-2 win in seven innings over Parowan at Parowan High School on Wednesday.

Summer Terry racked up two RBIs on one hit for Enterprise. She doubled in the fourth inning.

Enterprise got the win thanks in large part to Dakota Robinson‘s dominant, 10-strikeout performance. Robinson allowed one earned run on two hits and four walks over seven innings.

Enterprise didn’t relinquish the lead after scoring three runs in the first inning when it scored on a fielder’s choice, an RBI single by Madie Holmes, and a walk by Kaylee Christensen.

Enterprise brought home one run in the second inning, and matched that run total in the sixth. In the second, Enterprise scored on an error, scoring Terry

EHS Boys Basketball Schedule for 2012-2013

EHS boys basketball summer schedule and regular season schedule is officially here. Download the PDF below for details

Greetings from the Men’s Basketball coaching staff!
We want you to know that we enjoyed our basketball experience with you this last season. We now look forward
with great anticipation to the coming months of preparation for our ‘2012/2013’ season. Our season schedule for next year
has been officially set and we are excited about the competition and feel we are poised to do well building on the foundation
of this last year. To accomplish some of the goals we have as coaches, we would like you as an individual to consider the
following information seriously to help prepare yourself to meet the challenge of doing your part in making the team the
best it can be!
The first thing we would like you to do is participate in our upcoming clinics and camps. At the moment we have 5
scheduled. Although it is not mandatory to come to these camps, we highly recommend it. We hope to fit almost 2 full
seasons of basketball into a few short weeks. The experience gained is invaluable!

• The 25th of May is a ‘coaching scrimmage’. This will be at Enterprise High School
• June 1st and 2nd we have a 2 day tournament at Valley High School in Orderville. (Coaches invitation)
• June 5th-7th is our Free Wolf Pack clinic at Enterprise High School.
7th & 8th Grade will be from 5pm to 6pm.
9th through 12th will be from 6pm to 8pm.
Everyone is invited to this clinic! We want everyone interested in playing basketball to attend!
• June 8th and 9th is the North Sevier Summer Slam in Salina. (Coaches Invitation)
• June 25th through the 29th is the Dixie State Team camp in St. George. This is
for 9th through 12th grades. If you are an incoming Freshman you are eligible!
(this camp is a great experience! Plan to attend if at all possible)

Again, we are excited for the coming year. If you will plan now to arrange your summer schedules so you can
participate with the team this summer, it would be appreciated and well worth your time. We recommend participating in
any other individual camps outside of the team events this summer. Please continue to be consistent and disciplined with
your workouts and weight lifting schedule and get your bodies and minds in shape. We strongly encourage participation in
some kind of fall sport i.e. cross country, football or other programs to keep in shape. Our standard of excellence and our
work ethic is 2nd to none and we look forward to your added determination and strength! This will be an exciting new year
of Enterprise Wolves Basketball!

EHS Morning Announcements for April 18, 2012

Enterprise High School students give us another great Morning announcement video.

Enterprise Little League is Officially underway

The Enterprise Utah Little League has officially started. Mayor Lee Bracken opened the season throwing the game ball for the starting games with the two minor league games on Tuesday, April 17th. The Mayor was excited to be a part of this event, and the Little league was finally ready for baseball season to get underway. The Little League is ran by a little League board and each member of the board works very hard to make sure everything runs smoothly throughout the entire year. We need to give a special thanks to those who work extra hard for the Little League of Enterprise: Sharla Hunt, Deidre Christiansen, Lyndee Hunt and many others work very hard each season and do so much and never receive the credit they deserve. If you see them around town be sure to thank them for the little league and thank Lyndee for all the food at the games.
