Battle of the Bands at Enterprise High School

Enterprise, Utah – On Friday night the Enterprise High School PTSA put on their annual Battle of the Bands, or so it should be called—Battle of the Band. Playing was “The World Divided”, a band consisting of drummer Ben Moyle, lead guitarist Daniel Moyle, rhythm guitarist Mack Crouch, keyboardist and vocalist Kamry Thelin, backup vocalist Savannah Ridel and bassist Chandler Staheli. They played a total of 11 songs, including an encore brought on by the excited crowd. Over 130 students and local community members came out to the event to support the band and a crowd of teens even came up to the front of the stage where they spent the entire night.

Battle of the Bands is sponsored by the Utah PTA Student Involvement Commission and is a yearly event where bands from high schools across the state come together to compete for prizes. In past years, prizes included an opportunity to create a music video, studio time, CD’s, and performance time at the Salt Lake Arts Festival, and more.

Next up for Enterprise High’s band “The World Divided” will be multi-region competition that will take place between March 1st and 31st. They will be assigned a time, date and location for their band to compete. Three bands from each multi-region competition plus a wild card will advance to the State Battle of the Bands competition in Salt Lake City.

State Battle of the Bands will be on April 9, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. in the Grand Theater at the Salt Lake Community College. Make an effort to support this band if they make it to state as they are awarded points on crowd interaction.
