Crispy Ritz Cracker Chicken Recipe

We all search daily for good family recipe’s that are easy and taste great. We recently found that Ritz crackers aren’t just appetizers anymore, but a fun twist when you’re cooking, plus you can’t go wrong with these delectable, buttery crackers!

We tested this and found an amazing dinner opportunity that is quick and taste great. We prepared the chicken breasts, dipped them in a bath of milk and eggs, moved them to a blanket of cheddar cheese and finally placed the chicken in our crushed up sleeve of crackers that we used as breading.

The best part of the meal is the delightfully rich sauce, we’ve got a perfect balance of crunchy and crispy versus smooth and creamy.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 sleeve ritz crackers, crushed
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • Sauce:
  • 1 (10 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste
