Enterprise High School FCCLA Has Sites Set on Nationals

Layton, Utah – Enterprise High School students competed at the State Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) Conference. Twenty-Six students from Enterprise worked hard to get to the state level and it came down to eight students that qualified for the National Leadership Conference that will take place July 3-7 in San Diego, California.

FCCLA is a national Career and Technical Student Organization that provides personal growth, leadership development, and career preparation opportunities for students in Family and Consumer Sciences education. Their Mission is to promote personal growth and leadership development through Family and Consumer Sciences education. Focusing on the multiple roles of family member, wage earner, and community leader, members develop skills for life through; character development, creative and critical thinking, interpersonal communication, practical knowledge, and career preparation.

Those eight who qualified are; Hailee Holt, Ellie Prisbrey, Jessica Holt, Taleena Truman, Sherri Platt, Stacie Williams, JayLynn Holt, and Sara Bowler.

These students will be working towards bringing a National title home. Congratulations to all those who participated, and good luck to those going to Nationals!
