Enterprise Snowstorm Hits Just in Time for a White Christmas
Enterprise residents saw a heavy amount of snow falling Thursday just after lunch when the winter storm moved in and dropped 10 inches of snow in 10 hours.
Nearby Cedar City received only 2 inches of fresh snow while Enterprise was hit hard. Main roads in and out of Enterprise, State Road 18 and 56 were both snow packed causing a very slow commute for travelers.
The Enterprise snowstorm was one of three storms expected to hit the area. A large winter storm warning for the entire state of Utah is expected on Saturday bringing in 5-8 inches in the mountain areas. Another storm will move in Sunday morning with 1-4 inches to give Enterprise residents more snow for a white Christmas.
