Prisbrey Drives In Four As Enterprise Wolves Varsity Defeats Kanab
Enterprise Wolves defeated Kanab 12-2 on Friday thanks in part to Caden Prisbrey, who drove in four runners. Prisbrey drove in runs on a wild pitch in the first, a single in the third, and a single in the seventh.
Enterprise secured the victory thanks to seven runs in the seventh inning. Enterprise Wolves Varsity’s big inning was driven by a single by Caden Prisbrey, a single by Spencer Laub, a groundout by Austin Randall, a single by Mack Crouch, an error, and a walk by Kaden Simkins.
Enterprise Wolves Varsity took an early lead in the first inning. A wild pitch by Kason Whitesides scored one run for Enterprise Wolves Varsity.
In the bottom of the first inning, Kanab tied things up at one. Derrik Fox drove in one when he doubled in the first inning.
The Wolves took the lead for good with three runs in the third inning. In the third Prisbrey singled off of Whitesides, driving in two runs and Whitesides uncorked a wild pitch, scoring one run.
Prisbrey earned the win for Enterprise. He tossed seven innings, allowing two runs, six hits, striking out seven, and walking one.
Whitesides took the loss for Kanab. He threw three innings, giving up four runs, five hits, striking out one, and walking one.
Enterprise had 14 hits in the game. Levi Randall, Prisbrey, Truman Fowler, and Laub each collected multiple hits.
Fox led Kanab with one run batted in. He went 2-for-3 on the day.
