Southern California Inundated with Rain

A powerful storm hit Southern California on Friday night causing flooding numerous roadways in Los Angeles prompting water rescues.
The rainstorm dumped more than 6 inches of rain in Los Angeles and nearly double-digit totals in other local Counties, according to the National Weather Service. Ventura County mountains received 9.89 inches of rain. The Valleys experienced high floodwater levels as well, including Red Mountain with 7.68 inches of rainfall and Westlake Village with 6.57 inches.
A massive sinkhole also in Los Angeles swallowed up two cars. At least one person was trapped, but crews were able to pull the woman out of the car.
