Varsity Rolls Over Delta as JV Losses in Double Overtime

Enterprise Lady Wolves traveled to Delta for their final road game before state playoffs. The Wolves jumped out to an early lead 16-6 in the first half. The Wolves played solid on defense and on the offensive side of the ball Halle Drake led all scorers with 13 points and 8 boards. The Wolves went 6-12 in free throws.

Enterprise needs all the momentum they can get heading into playoffs to build confidence and help their 5 seniors turn their 12-8 season into a championship run.

The real story of the night was the JV team that took the Delta Rabbits into double overtime. At the end of the 1st quarter, the score was 5-3 in a defensive battle. The Wolves held the lead going into half-time 14-12. By the end of the third quarter, the game was tied 21-21 and emotions were running high.
The Wolves managed to tie up the game 28-28 at the end of the 4th quarter to send it into overtime. Once again these two teams traded scores and were headed into double overtime tied at 35. The Wolves ran out of gas as the Rabbits finished strong sent the Wolves home with a disappointing loss 39-42.
Freshmen team fell to Delta 26-32.
