Wolves Run Out of Gas in Semi-Finals

Enterprise Wolves Fall to Manti in Semi Finals

Enterprise High School Boys Basketball have been on a roll winning their last 3 regular season games and taking down North Sevier and Layton Christian. Their confidence was high with their strong senior team, but the Manti Templars were ready for the Wolves coming off a 7 game win streak.
Enterprise was down early with several turnovers in the first quarter. Once they had that under control they fought back with the help of Connor Phelps and took the lead at half time 31-27. Manti really pulled away in the second half scoring 40 of their 67 points. The Enterprise defense really started to break down late in the game and they just couldn’t hang on and lost 67-54. Enterprise will move on to play South Summit at 3:00 Saturday, Feb. 28th for 3rd or 4th place at the SVC Center in Richfield.
South Summit was one of 6 teams that beat Manti in the regular season. South Summit took care of Maeser Prep, and Parowan in the first two rounds of the 2A playoffs, but fell to Emery 65-55 in the semi finals. Enterprise needs to play tight defense on Jason Giffin and Bracken Santos in order to have an effective game. Enterprise is lead by Travis Dougherty and Isaac Wallin with a great supporting cast behind them that are ready to end this season on a high note.
