gaell-lindstrom“Gaell Lindstrom left behind a legacy of art, and consequently many fine artists have been influenced by his teaching,” Kathy Cieslewicz, curator of the Sears Art Museum Gallery, said. “We are pleased to present a collection of his earliest work as a young person to his later grand works, showing his progress as an artist. Our thanks go out to his son, Braden Lindstrom, a DSU assistant professor, and his family and friends who were willing to share their prized possessions for our viewers to enjoy.”

A well-known Utah State University art professor and award-winning artist, Lindstrom mastered a variety of mediums but is best known for his watercolors. The show will feature photography, paintings, ceramics, and drawings.

The Sears Art Museum Gallery features six exhibits each year. Offering a variety of art styles from traditional to contemporary, the gallery exists for the enjoyment and education of Dixie State University students and the community. For more information, visit www.searsart.com.
