Enterprise City Receives Additional Donations for New Fire Department
Enterprise, Utah – The City of Enterprise is putting the final touches on the Lynn K. Bryson Fire Station at 625 East 400 South. The City Council worked closely to qualify for CDBG funds that was available from the local Five County Association of Governments. The bid came in to complete the fire station above the $300,000 that was set aside for the city. Therefore the city scaled back in order to stay close to the budget and has been working on solutions to complete other projects.
The fire station is finished for the CDBG funds, and you will see many more changes added over the next few months. The new fire station was built to house the fleet of ambulance, rescue, and fire vehicles, but also had plans for a training room to train volunteers, but the room was cut out of the plans to fit in the budget. The city is now getting their chance to finish the training room thanks to generous donations from Brackens Farms, and Sherwood and Winell Bracken.
Enterprise City will hold a grand opening in early spring when the add-ons are finished. In the meantime if you have questions or would like to make donations please contact Adam Bowler at the Enterprise City Offices at (435) 878-2221.
